Compete With Faith. Lead With Excellence.
Concord Christian Academy offers a comprehensive athletics program from elementary through high school, including NHIAA-sanctioned varsity sports. Our vision is to foster a culture of excellence through individual achievement and championship-caliber teams while developing the whole student-athlete.
Athletic development begins in elementary school, where students build fundamental skills, learn teamwork, and discover their interests. In middle school, they refine sport-specific techniques and develop competitive discipline. By high school, students possess the skills and mental fortitude to excel at the varsity level—with many continuing to compete collegiately on athletic scholarships.
Our program is grounded in six core pillars: academic rigor, character, leadership formation, sacrifice, school spirit, and sportsmanship. These principles guide our coaching at every level, ensuring CCA athletics nurtures skilled competitors and well-rounded individuals prepared for success on and off the field and court.
About Our Athletic Director

Carrie Smith serves as Athletic Director at Concord Christian Academy, combining her passions for Christ, children, and athletics. She believes CCA's student-athletes should pursue excellence on the field and court in the same way they pursue it in the classroom, helping athletes and teams maximize their potential through quality instruction and full school support.
A 2001 graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University, Carrie earned a degree in Elementary Education while playing collegiate basketball. Her experience as a student-athlete informs her approach to athletic administration, emphasizing the holistic development of each participant. In addition to serving as Athletic Director, she coaches CCA's girls' middle school and junior varsity basketball teams.
Carrie is married to Matt Smith, co-head coach for the girls varsity basketball team. Together they have six children, five of whom play competitive sports. This firsthand experience gives her deep appreciation for the family commitment required to support athletic pursuits.
Under Carrie's leadership, CCA's athletic programs have flourished, with multiple state championships and a growing reputation for developing skilled competitors and Christ-centered leaders. Outside of CCA, Carrie and Matt enjoy coaching AAU and travel basketball teams and cheering on their children from the sidelines.
