Middle school (grades 6-8) is an exciting season of growth — and at CCA, it's one filled with purpose, community, and challenge. Our dedicated faculty create a structured yet lively environment that nurtures the whole student spiritually, academically, physically, and emotionally. With Scripture as our guide, CCA partners with parents to deliver a rich academic program covering Bible, Grammar, Literature, Writing, Spanish, Geography, History, and Science, along with a full math progression from General Math through Algebra II. Co-curricular offerings in art, Health and Wellness, technology, PE, and STEM engineering round out the experience.
Spiritual formation is central to life at CCA. Students gather for chapel every Thursday, and each fall, middle schoolers retreat to The Wilds of New England for reflection, relationship-building, and spiritual encouragement. The journey culminates in a beloved week-long 8th grade trip to Cape Cod — a meaningful experience where students reflect on their growth and prepare for high school.
CCA's fine arts program offers opportunities in visual art, music, and performing arts. The middle school theatre program presents one production each fall — recent shows include Little Women, A Christmas Carol, and Rosie the Riveter — performed in CCA's state-of-the-art auditorium. In athletics, CCA offers soccer, basketball, and baseball, with coaches who emphasize character, teamwork, and sportsmanship alongside skill-building. Every athlete gets meaningful playing time — because at CCA, every player matters.
Ultimately, middle school at CCA is about discovering who God made each student to be — learning to love others, honor relationships, model servant leadership, and uncover the unique gifts and calling God has placed on their lives.
