Fourth Grade

In fourth grade at Concord Christian Academy, students grow academically, spiritually, and socially in a Christ-centered environment. They explore God’s creation—from tiny particles to the stars—while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Students see God’s order in math, science, and technology, and practice the gift of expression through speaking, reading, writing, art, music, and drama. They learn Bible truths, study Christian heroes, and apply Scripture to daily life, growing in faith and character.

Hands-on, interactive activities—such as the Egg Drop Challenge, interactive book reports, family tree project, volcano fair, and more—help students engage actively with learning. Field trips further extend understanding of God’s world, including visits to Camp Sentinel, the New Hampshire State House, the Museum of New Hampshire History, and the White Mountains.

The fourth grade classroom is staffed with a full-time teacher and a full-time aide, allowing for small-group breakouts for leveled reading and math instruction. This dedicated support ensures that every learner — whether accelerated or in need of a little extra help — receives the attention and encouragement they need to thrive.
