First Grade
Our first grade program nurtures academic, spiritual, and social growth in a Christ-centered environment. Students develop strong reading and writing skills, explore math concepts including money, place value, and two-digit addition and subtraction, and cultivate curiosity through science and social studies. Guided by Christian values, our curriculum fosters character, confidence, and a love of learning while helping each child reach their God-given potential.
The first grade classroom is staffed with a full-time teacher and a full-time aide, allowing for small-group breakouts for leveled reading and math instruction. This dedicated support ensures that every learner — whether accelerated or in need of a little extra help — receives the attention and encouragement they need to thrive.
