Encouraging Students to Explore Their Creativity

CCA offers a dynamic arts program that encourages students to explore creativity, develop skill, and express ideas with confidence. Through visual art, music, and performing arts, students are given meaningful opportunities to discover their talents while building discipline, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.

Instruction and performance opportunities are available across grade levels, allowing students to grow artistically while contributing to a vibrant school culture that values creativity alongside academic excellence.

The performing arts program at Concord Christian Academy offers students the opportunity to engage in theatre both on stage and behind the scenes. Students develop confidence, communication skills, and teamwork while participating in high-quality productions supported by experienced leadership and professional-grade facilities.

In 2017, CCA expanded its commitment to the arts with the addition of a state-of-the-art auditorium, equipped with modern sound and digital technology. This professional performance space allows students to experience theatre in an environment that mirrors real-world productions.

  • Middle School Theatre: One production each fall, typically in late November. Recent productions include A Christmas Carol and Little Women.
  • High School Theatre: One major production each spring. Recent productions include Treasure Island, Sherlock Holmes (written by Andrew Doan), and A Tale of Two Cities.

Through auditions, rehearsals, technical work, and live performances, students gain hands-on experience that builds confidence, creativity, and leadership—skills that extend far beyond the stage.

Art and music instruction is available to students beginning in Kindergarten, providing a strong foundation in creative expression from an early age. Throughout the school year, students showcase their work and talents through concerts, exhibitions, and school programs.

At the high school level, students can participate in the chapel Worship Team and are required to complete one Fine Arts credit, ensuring continued engagement with the arts as part of a well-rounded educational experience.
