What's Important to Us at CCA?

At Concord Christian Academy we are daily engaged in the pursuit of "Shaping the character, expanding the mind, and loving the child." This, our motto says best what the hearts of our Faculty and Staff desire to achieve. Below are the significant areas through which we are fleshing out our motto-goal.

At CCA, students learn to see the world through the lens of God’s Word. The CCA education is Bible-vision in full color as students are taught comprehensive Bible curriculum from Genesis to Revelation. The spiritual life of the school is integrated into every facet of the curriculum. Students participate in chapels, retreats, 8th grade Cape Cod trip, community service projects, mission’s conferences, and spiritual emphasis weeks.

CO-CURRICULA
CCA provides a rich strata of co-curricula including music, art, computer, library skills, Spanish, health, and physical education.

ACADEMICS
CCA offers the core subjects of Bible, reading, writing, spelling, penmanship, mathematics, science, and social studies. As we equip our students with God’s purpose for their lives, we utilize the most current research and maintain the highest academic standards. We view the teacher as the living curriculum who uses the Word of God as the standard of truth.

ATHLETICS
CCA offers soccer, volleyball, track and field, basketball, skiing, baseball and softball. All students are welcome to participate in the sports programs for grades 2-8. Students build character and learn many life lessons including teamwork, sportsmanship, endurance, respect for authority and others, and how to share their faith.

SCHOOL COMMUNITY
Learning occurs best when a community unites in love - a community in which faith and learning are interwoven, in which learning complements the Christian home and church, and in which time and talent are regarded as gifts from God to be used in His service.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES
Student activities at CCA are not an add-on but an integral part of nurturing the intellectual, spiritual, social, emotional, physical and technical development of each child.  Student extra-curricular activities include Geo Bowl, Spelling Bee, Student Leadership Team, Worship Team, Math Team, Fine Arts Festival, Drama, Oratorical and Writing contests, etc.
